Mohammad Azharuddin wants 3-2 bowling combination against England

NEW DELHI: The former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin wants two spinners, Ravi Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav combination in test series against England. He also wants Kuldeep Yadav should be picked ahead of Ravindra Jadeja because English batsmen struggled against him both  ODI and T20 series.

“Englan will find it very difficult to dislodge India because they don’t have a very strong bowling attack.we have a very strong side, there are only two bowlers they have James Anderson and stuart broad, but they are injury prone and in the twilight of their careers”.

Though Azhar feels that team combination depends on the wicket, but the best combination for india would be three fast bowlers and two spinners .

“If it’s green pitch then they may go with 4-1, but I think 3-2 will be a better combination If you want to win. Because later the pitch will get dry it will be hot and pitches would offer to turn especially on last two days” he added.

Azhar also feels that india had a good swing bowlers

“The only chance England will have is if they given green tops but if they given green tops they will also struggle because we also have very good swing bowlers “.

And Azhar also told that ifindia want togo with 4-1 then ashwin will be picked because of his experience. He also added that current india team fittest ever.
