Sam Billings to play IPL regardless of being named Kent captain
Billings now would miss the initial 2 months of the district season, something that won't run down exceptionally well with the Kent fans, who might have been anticipating seeing Billing lead their side.
The English worldwide will join Mark Wood at CSK, both of whom are enormous parts of England's constrained overs setup.
And keeping in mind that the Canterbury fans would be annoyed with Billings' choice, he feels that the IPL experience would improve him a player in the restricted overs organize.
Billings needed England fans to realize that he was settling on this cognizant choice not in view of the money but rather in light of the fact that he feels the IPL would enable him to enhance as a cricketer.
"The changing face of the universe of cricket is moving quickly and individuals should know that these open doors don't come up frequently and you can't bear to miss the IPL.
"On the off chance that the Test chief is putting his name in the cap at that point doubtlessly individuals need to wake up and see 'alright, perhaps we have to accept it'. It's not simply pajama cricket and blokes needing to pursue the money. I think the issue with individuals right now is that they have this thought of the IPL and these different competitions yet we wouldn't play in them on the off chance that they weren't enhancing us as cricketers." Billings said.
The CSK fans would be glad to see such response from a remote player and would trust that Billings could win a couple of amusements for them.
The IPL is booked to start on the seventh of April, with Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings set to bolt horns at the Wankhede.
