Nobody in the Dressing Room to Point Out Kohli's Mistakes: Sehwag
New Delhi: Virender Sehwag has by and by prepared his weapons on Virat Kohli, saying at present there is nobody in the group who can face the India captain and call attention to his errors on the field.
Sehwag, who had prior assaulted the India skipper for his determination approach, stated, "I think, Virat Kohli needs a few players who can call attention to his slip-ups on the field," Sehwag said in a show on 'India TV'.
"Each group has four-five players who exhort the captain and enable him to dodge botches on the field. I don't see that in the present Indian squad. There's nobody in the squad who can challenge Kohli's choice in the changing area. No player is up to his standard," he included.
Sehwag said Kohli's captaincy is being influenced by his own desires from different players.
"Virat Kohli has achieved a level where he can play well in unfriendly circumstances and he expects the same from whatever is left of India squad," the previous swashbuckling opener said.
"In any case, different players in the squad haven't achieved the stature where Kohli as of now is. This is influencing Kohli's captaincy."
As indicated by Sehwag, all Kohli needs is to see other Indian batsmen score bravely like him.
"Kohli is simply requesting that they influence races to like him. What's more, there's nothing amiss with it. I recollect, when Sachin Tendulkar was the skipper, he used to request that other batsmen score runs. On the off chance that I can score, at that point for what reason right?"
Sehwag unequivocally trusts that Kohli must get guidance from the mentor yet not actualizing it on the field. "It's imperative is to sit together and converse with make a procedure for the up and coming Test. No single player can lead you to triumph, collaboration is imperative. Each player needs to contribute," the Nawab of Najafgarh said.
