The former Indian opening batsman and one best captain of INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE, Gautam Gambhir retires from all forms of cricket on Tuesday by saying his time to continue with the game was over.

gautam Gambhir was the third highest run-getter among Indian test openers.in test career, he scored 4119 runs at an average of 42.92 with 9 hundred and 22 fifties, and in an ODI career, he scored 5238 runs at 39.68 with 11tons and 34 half centuries. he also played 37 t20 for India and scored 932 runs but he played most important knock in 2007 world cup final which helped India to lift the inaugural t20 title.

The 37-year-old Delhi batsman announced retirement on Tuesday by posting a video on twitter handle.

Gambhir will always remember for his most important knocks in the 50 over format 97 off 122 deliveries which came in 2011 world cup final against Sri Lanka.he is also highest run-getter in 2 world cup final which India won.
