MS Dhoni is a better footballer than other cricketers : Yuvraj Singh
With the World Cup rage virally spreading over the globe, Indian veteran Yuvraj Singh discusses how the Team India cricketers are with regards to exchanging sports. The Indian cricketers are regularly observed playing football amid their training sessions before matches as an approach to stay in shape and the 36-year old has pronounced the best of all and for the swashbuckler, it's none other than MS Dhoni who best's Yuvraj's rundown as a decent footballer.
The clever Yuvraj gave his master remarks on his colleagues' football aptitudes as he discusses how captain Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah are on the field with simply the ball.
Yuvraj said, "Virat is really fit and can run the length and breadth of the pitch with high speed, but unfortunately, he can never score goals. He has a lot of skills but sadly lacks the finish. I think he needs to work on that."
"Jasprit Bumrah shouldn't play football. Hardik Pandya is a really bad footballer. He too needs to improve his football skills", Yuvi says.
Carrying on in a lighter vein, Yuvraj includes: "Rohit Sharma is an awful soccer player. He just passes the ball and afterward doesn't move. He is continually remaining in an offside position. Zaheer Khan is likewise similar to Rohit, scarcely needs to keep running on the football ground. Ashish Nehra, I would exhort shouldn't play football in light of the fact that everytime he plays, he gets harmed."
So who is a decent footballer as per Yuvraj? "Mahi (Dhoni) is a fantastic soccer player", he said.
Making advances on whom Yuvraj is supporting in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, it is France.
For Yuvraj, it is his most loved club Manchester United that has constrained him to change loyalties from his perpetual most loved Brazil to supporting France in the continuous FIFA World Cup and the reason is his most loved player, Paul Pogba, who plays for the 'Red Devils'.
"Past few World Cups, I supported Brazil, but this year I am supporting France because it has Paul Pogba, who is a Manchester United player", said Yuvraj.
